One of the very old trees growing beside the river became a victim of the gales over the weekend. Such a shame.....

@ludwigsdiana I was quite taken amazed when I saw it - sad too as it has been beside the river for as long as I can remember

@paul10 I agree Paul, I was sorry to see the tree in this state - it has stood beside the river here since I was a child and probably long before that too
