@kiwinanna said: This week's push for you - choose some memorabilia that has significance to you and tell your story in a collage. Here is my second collage. These are all from Malaysia where my father was born and brought up (Malaya then). Top left is a pewter tankard inscribed first with Mem (my grandmother, then Keith, my brother and third James, my older son), top right is a child with a traditional Malaysian Kite, also in pewter, bottom left is a ring my grandfather bought for my grandmother and is Blue Zircon, bottom right is a pewter vase my parents brought back on a return trip they made in 1988
@365anne Well this brought back memories for me too. I lived in Malaya for two years as a child. It was such a great cultural experience. I don't remember seeing those traditional kites though - it was a long, long time ago. Another cool collection of memorabilia. Well done.
@huvesaker Thank you boo @hermann Yes, Sally, they certainly are treasured! @kiwinanna So glad this took you on a little trip down memory lane Lianna! My dad has some of the kites - proper size ones, they are made of paper so are fragile but very colourful
