Water clock by 365anne

Water clock

This water clock is on the end of Southwold Pier, when the hour and half-hour chime- things happen!!
Oh cool! I can just imagine what happens with the water falling here and there!
Neat shot!

when the hour and half-hour chime- things happen!! This sounds like a warning for a horror novel or something. Now I'm worried what will happen :o It is a very cool looking clock though - tick tock!!

Great capture of this, it's not easy to photograph - I've tried, without much success.

Hi, Anne. We're get pushed partners this week. For your challenge, I'd like you to think back to when you were a child. What would a 10 or 11 year old Anne photographed -- and what setting and mood would you have chosen? I'm not asking you to abandon all of what you've learned and the photography skill you've gained, but try to recapture what would have excited you as a girl. Does that sound OK? If not, I can come up with something different. I look forward to seeing what you give me for a challenge.

@farmreporter Haha, your guess may well be correct!!
@ludwigsdiana Dad and I decided that it would have been a fun project to work on!
@paul10 Oh Paul, no horror involved here - just child-like naughtiness!
@hermann Yes, we stood and looked at it for quite a while!
@judithdeaconI agree that this is not an easy thing to get a good shot of! Thanks for your encouraging comment.
So, what happens on the hour?? The two old folk in the bath at the top lean forward and shoot water from the straws in their mouths, and the two rascals beneath them drop their shorts and .......... yes, you can guess!!! :-) Great fun!
