Anne, you might appreciate this - I have been thinking lately (that alone can get me in trouble) that the most pictured wild mammal on 365 is the squirrel. For bird it is either the European Robin or the gull. Of course squirrels can be rather cooperative as they freeze thinking it makes them hard to see. LOL I think you did a good job of focus. I would have a dozen pictures where the focus ended up on those branches in front of the tree. Well if I hadn't deleted I probably could find some.
@joansmor In some ways I am not surprised that the squirrel is the most photographed wildlife on here Joan, however, I find them very difficult to capture - they just dont stay around long enough for me! It may be something to do with having a dog with me when I am out walking?! Thanks for you lovely comments @judithdeacon Thank you!! Sometimes a bit of fluke goes a long way Judith! @gijsje Thanks bep! @mave Thank you, I too was pleased with how well the eye was focused @30pics4jackiesdiamond Well, I thought that pigeons were tree rats! Would much rather have squirrels than pigeons....... @paul10 thanks Paul, I noticed the framing round the eye only when I saw the shot on my computer screen - a bit of fluke! @joannakate Thanks!
