Yes, I thought that worked better but spoilt as the white of the flower is overexposed so the detail is lost. Ho hum!!

i see what you mean by the blown out whites, but i dont think it really matters for this kind of shot, but if you happened to have nd filters you could do this in dayight without that happening.

Ah, I remember on some of the articles I read about using an ND filter. I don’t have one but will ask my son if he does.

Great that you are pushing the boundaries all the time. On blown whites, I've always found it easier to use post-processing!
