The path may have been cleared, but it looks quite slippery! I do not think I would like to trust it on a bicycle!! Like her brightly coloured jacket - at least she will be easily seen !
Great capture looks very cold. I always used my bike to get to work even in the snow I did get knocked off once by a car sliding on the ice but only a few bruises.
@wendyfrost Phew! Only bruises, thank goodness. True confessions: I do ride my bike in the winter- sometimes- but I'm getting increasingly spooked. I don't know if it's an aging thing (fear of falling and breaking bones), or if I simply don't like the wind chill :)
@365projectorgheatherb. I think it is an ageing thing as more traffick is on the roads. I stopped using it when my knee became too painful and I have always blamed cycling for the problems I have now. (In a wheelchair and waiting for a knee replacement op. )
@wendyfrost I'm sorry to hear this, Wendy. Our joints are so vulnerable, aren't they? I hope you are able to have your knee replacement surgery soon, but I think health care in the UK is in a similar state to ours- such long waits for these kind of operations. I hope you are not in horrible pain as you wait.
Gosh, you've still got so much snow! I have a nice bike but I no longer use it, there's too much traffic and we don't have bike lanes where we live now. Such a shame as I do like cycling. Take care and stay warm Heather.
Great candid of the biker .
