This is just a small portion of U of T's Landmark Project, which has finally been completed. Vehicles are now restricted, numerous gardens have been planted with native plants, walkways have been built to make the area completely accessible, and benches galore have been added all along the walkways. All in all, "a greener, more walkable and accessible campus" and a new urban park for those of us living downtown.
@sangwann Hi Dione. We actually have a lot of cranes and builders' trucks in Toronto too! It can be quite ugly, so I seek out pockets of beauty wherever I can. Fortunately, this university project is a *big* pocket! :-)
