@aecasey
Thanks for the words of support.
I started taking snaps of my cat and this one about two months ago.
They are both handsome fellows but I was pleasanly surprised that the shots came out looking so well from a camera in a phone. Especially with my lack of experience and know-how.
This made me want to broaden my photographic horizons but I lacked confidence and wasn't sure how to go about it.
Then, recently, I read an article on the bbc news website with a link to the 365 Project and I am now finding plenty of inspiration, tips and positive feedback here.
I haven't posted today's shot yet and I am already thinking about what I can shoot tomorrow!
The warmth and community feel to this website is impressive.
@4rky I admire how you are learning to use your phone camera. I have a dozen photo editing apps on my phone, which are all fun and easy to use, yet I almost never use my phone camera.
@vignouse@bkbinthecity
I have just finished my first week.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my posts as well as all the feedback and nice comments.
I have enjoyed going out each day looking for new shots and already feel like I am engaging with my surroundings more and looking at the world around me in a different way!
@ezzzmaay
I don't know who he belongs to - one of the neighbours presumably.
But he is friends with my cat and often comes to visit.
They often spend the day lolling around the garden together

All front - he's a big softie!
