Nostalgia (Still Life with Nasturtium)

This is the wall I look at across from my computer.
What a pretty sight. Is that a bell on the right? Nice photo.

The bell in the photo is "new", but was given to me on the capitol grounds in Madison, WI on the day of their Sesquitennial, May 29, 1998.

This is a beautiful photo, particularly with the color of the nasturtium against the sepia toning.

Very nice idea....and something that shares more about you. I like old things and memories such as this.

What a lovely memory box. I like the old photo------a family member?

The photo is not a relative, but she's got such a sweet expression and a gorgeous dress, I was glad to add her to this little assemblage.

What a beautiful wall. I love vintage items, and your display takes me to another world. Love the quiet mood. I used to set up displays when I worked at a book/giftstore and was always looking for vintage items to compliment the merchandise, to give it all a more homey feel. It was such an artistic release. I miss that.

Love the spot of color! Such an inspirational wall to view everyday. :)

I really love how just the flower is colored! It looks so fresh and alive, while the rest seems old and obsolete.

This reminds me of the American Girl: Samantha books I grew up reading (historical fiction for little girls, with a little historical background at the end of the stories), which are set in Edwardian 1904. You're very talented at the Victorian past-time of sticking as many pretty things together in a confined space as possible. :)
