Looking back through my pictures, I think we couldn't have been in a prettier place the week before Christmas than in Paris. It had snowed heavily the week before we arrived, but only a little while we were there, so it was easy to get around (on foot and by subway). The displays in this beautiful department store were amazing, and everywhere inside, people were taking pictures. (Having read the discussion about not taking photos in stores, maybe they are more lenient about photographing the decorations; who wouldn't want to?!)
Thanks for the nice notes when I came back by recently! I've got so much catching up to do in my life, I'm not adding new photographs to the list for the present. I wish I had the time to be as involved as I was last year at this time, but we all know how things can change. You'll see me dropping in a bit, as I'm still so drawn to the wonderful photos and I love being in touch, if only a little, but as often as I can!

Beautiful picture! The colours are wonderful. The store house looks really like an opera house. I was there in December 2001 and I would like to go to Paris again, ah!
