The joy of capturing photos in the hope of having something special at the end of the day is that what you end up with is not always what you went looking for...in my case at least. Ashley and John took Ken and me to lunch today and we sat out on the deck overlooking the harbour on a bright, sunny afternoon. Ashley covered Ashton with sunscreen and tried to get him to wear the sunglasses we'd given him...he really wanted no part of it, but we clapped for him and tried to make him think it was a great game. The string of photos I captured made me laugh so hard tonight I thought I was going to cry! That plate of fish 'n' chips might make it to my second album, but Ashton was the star of our show today. Allow this doting Grandma a little indulgence...
