Our visit with our little family wound to an end this morning. It's been one of the best visits ever and with that sweet grandbaby it can only keep getting better! While his parents packed up the car, Grandpa and I walked him up the street for a last look around the neighborhood. This is one of those "family album" photos, a slice of our lives and a sweet memory. When Ken looked at today's pictures of the good-bye, he said he felt teary. Me, too. It's going to be awfully quiet around here...
They called us tonight when they got home; they're safely back in Chicago.
Oh I can only imagine how tough that must have been, but it sounds like you had a wonderful visit with everyone, and you have some nice photos to look back on. You captured a precious moment here Louise.
Awww, this is so precious!! I've missed your photos! I'm so behind everywhere in life, not just here lol. I was so thrilled to see you stop by and comment. I'll try and peek in more often!

Those farewells are tough.
Happy memories.
Just love the song, have not heard that in many years.
Thank you for your kind words Louise, they are appreciated more than you know :)
