Now that my little muse is back in Chicago, I went driving around town looking for a photo choice. What a wealth of choices Lunenburg has to offer! I like the idea of taking pictures every day, so it's a test run to see what's available.
Ken and I watched the adult osprey (left) land on the nest with a fresh stick, but when she left, we waited another 40 minutes in the hope she'd return and I could catch her in flight. Osprey are also known as "Sea Eagles". I'm not a very patient wildlife photographer as we gave up eventually, but I was pleased when I came home and found I'd gotten this.
I don't like to crop my photos and thus remove the date and time stamp, but I wanted to give you the best view. This was taken today at 11:13 AM.
awesome! I photographed an osprey nest while on vacation as well! And I happened to capture a few in-flight photos! (I think the daddy was provoked by my presence, so I took a few and then returned to my vehicle)...The nest I photographed has a web-cam, so I'm waiting for my cousin to email me the website so that I can see the babies!
By the way, what program do you use that takes away your date/time stamp? I use several, and I've found that only when I do collages does the date go away.
@sailingmusic My longest lens only goes to 200...I'd love to have one like yours!! I always hate to crop as I lose the daily information, but only wanted the subject matter here. Thanks for the vote of confidence!
I use Photoshop and if I crop a picture at all, the date/time go away. As I'm really taking a photo-a-day, I hate to delete it, but...oh well!
How strange. I do a lot of editing in photoshop, and it doesn't take away my time/date stamp.
