When I Didn't Get but a couple of Photos for the Day, it Was Nice to Snag a Good One!
Most of the day it rained and I was at a loss as to what to photograph. We had plans to go to the theater in Chester in the evening, so I took along my camera to get a photo of the playbill out front. As we got out of the car, my friend, Johnnie, said, "Louise! There's "your" actor!" Just across the quiet street was Eric Balfour whom I'd photographed when he was in Lunenburg taping Haven last week http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2012-07-20
I went over and asked if I could take his picture, and a friend with him said for me to stand with him and she'd take the photo. I don't look like the cat who swallowed the canary, do I?
BTW, the musical, Broadway Without Borders, was as good as anything I've ever seen in Orange County! The acting and songs were over the top, and I was smiling all the way through it. We came back to the house for pizza, beer and ice cream at 11:30...what can I say about that?!
@pingo I understand they're filming in Chester today, Aug 2... If I hear they''ll be back in Lunenburg, I'll give you a heads up and we can meet for a coffee!
@kidatheart I didn't know that... He first came to my attention when we watched all the seasons of 6' Under, and now he's got a leading role on Haven, filmed in Chester and Lunenburg. A cutie, isn't he?
@anotherdreamer I'd never seen him in a movie, but came to know who he was through 6' Under and Haven (he plays "Duke"). He was such a pleasant man to talk to briefly! And yes, I was totally excited to run into him!
I loved Six Feet Under! I don't remember him - did he have a regular role? He's definitely hunky though. How fun for you to get your pic taken with him!
