At a friend's for dinner Tuesday, I couldn't help but notice the beautiful framing the door gave to the cozy interior of their home. From inside, no square window could have done justice in the same way to the view.
The weather is changing...almost imperceptibly... but we had a fire in the living room fireplace this evening.
it looks great as a frame, and I cannot believe how fast things seem to be changing around here as well. The temperatures today were down in the 60's, and tonight in the 50's, the same for the next few days they say. Fall is apparently making an appearance.
Wow - what a view from the porch! Wow - what a cozy view inside! Love them both. :) Ahhh, a fire sounds so relaxing - still reaching the high 90s/ 100s here, feels like fire on your feet if you go out barefoot on the concrete... just not the same.
What a great framing. Their home looks lovely and cozy. But a fire in the fireplace TODAY??? Be glad you are in Nova Scotia and not back here in southern CA. Mid 90s here today, supposed to be the same or higher through the weekend.
