I caught Frosty peering in the door a few days ago, but didn't use it...until I caught the duck doing the same thing & I knew I'd have some fun with this! The first time I heard "tap tapping" I wasn't fast enough to get the camera... But he kept returning...3 times! He & his friend had food, so I added some bread to the mix...but that wasn't what it was about...and he returned again! I thought the pictures might be unfocused, so I kept taking them...and then caught the moment he leaped up to smack the window one more time!
(From the look of the water spots on the window...that I hadn't seen before now...this isn't the first time a wet duck has visited!)
Guess I can join the ranks of Tippi Hedren, Doris Day, Bob Barker!
...and I'll add...because @Blightygal mentioned it and he was a fave of mine, Dr Dolittle!
@taffy I'll have a change of scene next week...heading to your turf to visit our daughter & grandson. Animals have their place, but I never pictured myself as an animal photographer!
@blightygal OMG! How great to see you again! Yah...I'm the soft touch in the family...poor Ken never had a say in it! (Joking aside, he's never wanted to let any go hungry who come by... The soup kitchen is open and word is out!)
@mozette Oh Lynda, thanks! When I happened to snap at the moment that duck jumped up, I thought I'd die laughing! And aren't they just a couple of little beggars?! (Loving it, too!)
@Weezilou Oh! Yes they are! I remember when I had Kitty Kat and Sheba sitting at my back door begging for attention... and Kitty Kat would wait for me to sit down and he'd curl up in my lap and go to sleep... he was such a cutie! :D I still have the photos of those two gorgeous cats on my computer and people wonder if it was me who had them as pets, but not, I was the one who patted them and kept them happy so they wouldn't do anything destructive.

I envy you the closeness you have with Frosty the little squirrel! What wonderful pictures his trust allows. @pyrrhula I think Richard's reply just above @chard was the funniest! At the moment, even as I write, 3 ducks are lying alongside the pool and one (always the same one...he has an identifiable bump on his neck/even going a few years back) was at the back door tapping on the glass. Funny little guys! Always a delight!
