*THIS* is a "rabbit hole"...

(If you actually read my list, *that's* a rabbit hole, too!)

Ten minutes after I had taken the picture & was at the computer, Ken came up and said, "Do you ever go to bed?!" I replied, "It's worse than that...I've already taken my first photo of the day..." to which he said, "Why am I not surprised?"...though he didn't ask what I'd photographed. I *think* he'll laugh...

If you'd enjoy a rabbit hole to fall through, check this site http://lucykatecrafts.blogspot.ca/2013/01/handwriting.html
The writing on my "to do list" is a font I made with my own lettering and the help of this site.
(I figured you'd all like that if you haven't done it already!)
Yeah! Love the thinking cloud with the text in it. Made me smile. I had to look up the meaning of your tag, I've learned two different sayings from you today!

@overalvandaan if you're interested...because you have SO MUCH free time with nothing to do...(hahaha!)...I added a link that you might like.

Lousie you are so creative! I spend my nights with like this with a million things on the to-do-list.
May 8th, 2014
@dgrynn Thanks Deb! Many has been the night that I dream repetitively about altering a photo in some way...always happy to wake up & "get some rest"! This really IS how I spend the first 20 min when I wake up...not a morning person...but that could be because I stay up until all hours...and I'll bet you can guess what I'm doing!

@Weezilou Thinking about laundry :) My husband gets up for work almost 3 hours before I have to and there are the times when he wakes me that I can't go back to sleep because I start to plot my day for my next shot. At least we are all in great company!!

LOL, Your mind must be a tough one to slow down and turn off for the night. Mine is like that sometimes too, and I think Josie has gotten accustomed to it over the years.
May 8th, 2014
@digitalrn We see one another around the site and we all know full well what sort of time that takes! Yah, Josie, Ken understands, too...or has just given up!

Brilliant! One of the most creative selfies I've ever seen!
May 8th, 2014
So clever. The writing link was great.
May 8th, 2014
It is great, so creative and fun! I love the thought bubble and will for sure have to check out the link as I was about to ask how you did that.
May 8th, 2014
@dailypix yes...now that you've seen my writing in person! It took a couple tries, but it's so cool to be able to type in your own handwriting! (I typically print, and I have to say I think it holds together better than a script, but give it a go and share something with us if you're happy with the result!)

@lynnz you're way-too-kind! All I can say is that my art teaches used to say to go freely with what comes intuitively. Upon waking, and not even wanting to get up to get my camera, AND not being able to see what I'd taken, it truly was a fly-by -the-seat-of-my pants moment. It wasn't until I could put on my glasses and see what I got that I came up with the rest of the idea for the one picture... Thanks for the love...

nice one Louise, see it wasn't so painful

@kali66 LOL...thanks for the vote of confidence ♥

Big smile!! I've been a part of such conversations. But am not as brave as you -- great morning shot! And love your list (yes, I did read it, but had to make it bigger to do it). Really well done! And hey -- just get the trial for SnapArt, that's what I did. 15 whole days to do weird processing!

@taffy "Try to avoid Rabbit Holes...by trying to avoid Taffy..." You're a peach...thanks for the thumbs-up support. Some days you just throw up your hands and say, "How much can this hurt?"... (Morning list...SnapArt...)

@Weezilou hehe, thanks, will have a go when I've got time :-)

So fun and cleverly done. Ken is a good sport :-)

I feel like this every morning, huge list of to do things and I just don't want to get up.
May 8th, 2014
Hmm I have the same problem on some nights lol
May 9th, 2014
Ah, Louise — ever the creative one! And now we know why. You never stop thinking about stuff! Fun pic. Made me smile. And then laugh out loud which might've woke someone because they're all asleep at this hour.

Been there, Done that! When the monkey brain takes over, there is no rest for the weary. Great image to express the sleep cycle of the American woman.

My thinking always is : `` nothing is that important or it can be done to morrow.`` and than I`ve a good night sleep on it.
May 9th, 2014
@pyrrhula Yes, you're so right Ferry! And by the time I crawl into bed around 1 AM, I can go to sleep pretty quickly. BUT...this is a morning picture, and I really do lie there thinking of all I want to get done that day! In this picture, getting that selfie in bed (for the theme) was at the top of my list, so I got the picture and placed a red check-mark next to that "To Do" chore...

Thanks again for all your comments. I loved your email, photos & funny sense of humor! I'll reply when I get some of those items off my current list! ;)

Very creative, great job. I like the idea of having my own handwriting font....just to get around to doing it! I've bookmarked the link, though. :)

@jgoldrup Set aside an hour 1/2...took a couple of false starts, but when it clicked it was a delight! You can also make all the hearts, stars and smiley faces you want, too, in your own hand!

@Weezilou Thanks for the tips!
