Our fourth grandchild arrived at 1:00 PM Chicago time ...a girl this time! She's not been named and I only have the messages they've texted our daughter Ashley, who finally arrived today. All are doing well...very happy news! We sent them this message earlier; can't wait to be more "up close and personal"!
Joyous news, and worth shouting for joy! This is a lovely photo. Your choice of situation is pleasing and such happy "sefies". If you used your self timer on camera , you did a pretty darn good job of getting in place in time. I hope Ashley pushed the shutter for you on this occasion.

My hope had been to have our other daughter & the family in the photo, all of us holding notes like this, but there were two small, well-traveled & sleep deprived boys involved & it wasn't going to happen! (Yes, I used the self timer & we're on our back porch. With luck, I'll get a photo of all of them today to send congratulations!)
Congratulations on the new grandbaby! How exciting. The yet-unnamed little one will someday appreciate knowing just how her grandparents looked when she came into this world. The picture's a wonderful idea. (And well taken too!)

Thank you all so much for the warm congratulations! Before 36 hours were up, the final decision was made, (first name in the running had Bodhi been a girl, so they really like it...) Hazel Eloise (Eloise is a combo of my name and Ashley's middle name, Elise...we're delighted!) @scarybird Steve...with, what...11,000 members on 365...a few of those are sure to be drinking the water!
