Our neighbours and long-time friends here in Lunenburg joined us for dinner the night before we took them to the airport to fly to Italy for two months, and their annual vacation http://365project.org/Weezilou/365/2010-11-05
Billy tends a beautiful garden and is generous with these sweet bouquets which I love to photograph and share as a thank you. They look after our house in the winter, and we'll look after theirs while they're away. I promised to care for the garden...and I'll send him photos...
@parisouailleurs Oh how lovely that someone loves this as much as I do! I have several pieces...another strolling cat, a raccoon, even a jacko'lantern...they're made from steel drums and only cost about $30...I adore them! I'm sure they'd be happy to ship...but they always have new designs each year... let me know if I can assist...
What a nice arrangement you have with these friends, caring for each other's homes while the other is away. I like the way you arranged everything for this picture, including the inclusion of the metal cat.
@lyndemc It was "before your time", but Billy and David's cat, Dill, was a crowd pleaser on 365... He's no longer with us, but the cat in the picture is "as it should be" where B&D are concerned. Dill was loved by everyone... Thanks so much for your always-thoughtful comments and observations...
