John's been away this past week in Yosemite, camping & hiking as part of an all-school outing-and-bonding-time together. The campus was all-but empty, and we enjoyed the quiet solitude...as much as possible with little boys! Everyone arrived back last evening, so this morning, we went to breakfast together and to the tide pools at the beach. I have lots an lots of photos of family fun together, but spent no time looking for something creative. I liked this photo and asked Ashley what she thought... Her response was, "That's nice...but that's not our dog..." True...but animals are a nice addition to any picture, so that's our morning as *I saw it*...
@cathrinemitch would it make you feel a little better if I told you this is "The Last Hurrah"? We head to the airport at 4 AM and will be back in NS at midnight... I'll be holding the thought of this moment...and I packed a sweater to wear on our arrival back!
