Part Seven: ...And They All Lived Happily Ever After ...
And so it was that the much-sought-after Dragon with the soft heart delighted in his growing family! "Puddles" del Pinguino had quested after him. Oh the joy, knowing someone was out there looking for you! The dashing knight, Sir Bodhi had secured him so that he might live in a happy home along with his treasured sister, the little Lady Hazel-Genevieve. He was thrilled that "Puddles" would soon be coming to live with them all in The Land of Chicago. He decorated his lair in anticipation of the arrival when they would all be together. He harbored the hope that they might throw a party and have some cake!
What was outside the realm of his imagination is that "Puddles" will be bringing him a box of Scottish Shortbread!
The End
Gentle Reader, treat yourself to this image on black...it takes on a new dimension...really!
@summerfield@dibzgreasley Thanks, Vikki for suggesting the proper bread-and-butter gift to be brought by P d'P when he goes to join the House of Dragon. I do hope, Debs, the story now shows the appreciation that dragons should be shown.& that I've recovered the perceived mis-step ;-)
@pyrrhula Oh Ferry, thank you! I think you "get it"...just how many hours I spent putting this one little picture together! I loved doing it...am getting a print to send to Bodhi to hang in his room!
