At San Juan Capistrano yesterday, we commented that this statue is situated in such a location that it's difficult to photograph well...especially if there are a lot of people in the frame. I was pleased with this image and did some post processing until I liked it even better.
Rather than take more photos today (since I didn't leave the house & the yard is in transition), I spent the day editing some of yesterday's photos. I asked Ken to pick his 3 favorites and place them in order. This, his favorite, was mine as well.
Good choice by your hubby! Great tones, coordinating colors and composition. Fav for me. I do the same with my hubby, but he is usually no help.....he says they're all good....LOL!
Beautiful! I think I've mentioned that I've often tried to figure out a good way to get an image of this guy and never could. You pulled it off magnificently!
@stray_shooter Thanks, Ron. When you said that, I was in full agreement as I'd never accomplished it either. Something in me wanted fiercely to change all that, and with some color adjustment and a little HDR application just to the horse, I was happy with the result. Thanks again :)
Great pov. and capture of this nice horse statue . Love the old fashion processing.
If you`re ever able to visit Holland I show you around this city. ( it has more protected monuments ( buildings) than Amsterdam.
This one I do not much know about. It`s more hiding and I was there only brief. I know the buildings are use by an University .
