@kevin365 Thank you Kevin... a little down this evening...think I'll get some sleep & might feel better in the morning. Thanks for the fave and for cheering my (wavering) tenacity...
What a cool capture for the five plus two theme. I hope tomorrow is a better day for you. I can well believe you must be feeling frustrated, having to be reliant on others to help out with things you have always managed on your own.
This is just priceless. You might have bombed your execution of "Down Dog', but you are a champ at Life, Louise!!! Such a endearing portrait of humor, charm, and total indefatigability. ☺
I did have so many physiotherapy in my time I could buy a house from the payment I think. Did it help? I doubt it as my movements are very limited by now. But it did n`t get worse, I hope.
Great funny photo ( the insert for you wall so you never forgot ?)
Oh, I think you were doing a perfect Savasana right there.....not quite sure what pose proceeded it!! Did they take that photo with your camera? This is way too funny, and I am so glad to know that you have not lost your sense of humor!! Life happens right?! I know you are frustrated and going stir crazy, but hopefully this will provide you with an opportunity to organize your thousands of photos on the computer, and also commune with the wildlife outside your bedroom!
You have both a way with words and the ability to tell great stories in your photos. Even in this photo you are rising above the circumstance with humor and grace. Get well and recover soon my friend.
really, your friends took a picture of you, hey? that is quite funny, not what happened to you, but the asking for a photo and you agreeing to it. get well soon, my friend, osia @panthora and i want to go to lunenburg! :-)
the other night i was waiting for my subway train to go home. two people walking in opposite directions bumped and one almost, not quite, fell on to the tracks. it made me think, should that happen right in front of me, i doubt i would try to pull the person up (mind get pulled down as i am the most unbalanced person anyone could know), but would it be polite to take a photo? to me it would be like taking advantage of someone's distress or misfortune, but i told myself, i will cross that bridge when i get there. most probably though i would just be screaming in panic which wouldn't help anyone at all. i'm blabbing, sorry.
@summerfield I would be so stoked if you and Osia made plans to come up! I KNOW what a mad-fun time we'd have! Rest? Forgetabouit!
Regarding the averted accident, here's my take on it...you wouldn't have done it... While I allowed for photos when I hurt my ankle, I knew it was then the culmination of my vacation and I needed the concluding Mexican photo! Now, in the hospital emergency, Ken took some photos at my request...swollen ankle and all... BUT...when I was trying to use the crutches, and he was probably as nervous as I was since it was going badly, the camera wasn't out and when I hit the floor...no photos. I will say now I wish I had them, but I do have photos of all the bruising along the way. Let's say the climax is the one photo that wasn't on our minds when it happened...and he was yes, screaming! There you have it...my assessment!
@dailypix Susan, thank you so much for that sweet comment and also for your note(s). This has all meant the world to me! And Dec 31 (or thereabouts) is a 99% possibility. We'd discussed spending Christmas up there, but "probably not"... It would be absolutely wonderful to meet you then! And to think it was going to be for tea at the Empress!
@texastrails Well, I know they'd laugh to see where *that photo* ended up! (In the book I made for my friend whose birthday it was, I slapped the words, "Smile for the camera!" over that photo of me on the ground!)
@panthora and have the time to sit and chat with the dearest of friends... That was such a terrific call! And now I see you and Vikki are making plans to come see us up north?!!! Say when! July is booked, but after that... Should *we* have a birthday bash?!
@pyrrhula You may laugh, but I'm actually glad I have this and a couple other photos! You never imagine this is what you look like! It's part of the whole vacation story, isn't it! As for physio, I didn't think I was going to be very happy about that, but I actually think it is helping, and I'm glad to be doing some stretching exercises so the damaged parts don't become tight. I don't know about how much it will help a month or a year from now, but I'm taking it day-by-day, and please know I'm doing better ♥
@kelly2@parisouailleurs@peggysirk@kwiksilver You're just the sort of friends with whom I love to surround myself! "Laugh and the world laughs with you"...in this case, (the world), literally! Look at how far-flung the group of us are, and how lovely to be sharing a laugh! ♥ to you all!
Oh my word.....hope you mend okay. I was wondering if anyone might learn something by looking up Yoga and trying some poses....had no idea someone might get injured! Take care for sure!
That's so wonderful we'll have the chance to get together when we're there for the Wedding. Though tea at the empress would have been divine too maybe it's possible in the future. We have our nephews baseball tournament this weekend it'll be busy but fun. Have a great weekend!
(Perfect for the 5+2 theme though!)

So, when do you arrive :)
