Wednesday August 19th is my birthday, so Ken arranged for a brunch with friends at a wonderful resort-restaurant overlooking Oak Island, of storied fame http://www.csicop.org/si/show/secrets_of_oak_island/
I brought along three cameras, as the only "gift" I wished to have was lots of photos! Photos I got! LOTS of them! The venue was gorgeous and everyone had a wonderful time, but it was this photo that Ken took of me that, to me, summed up the day!

Friends who came here, literally, from around the globe! Australia, England, other parts of Canada, So Africa and even a friend's house guest who also was visiting from England!

Life is good...and I've made it up to another decade!
Well Louise, I'm sure there's plenty of us here on 365 who wish we could have joined in your party celebrations. You do such a lot for many people so you deserve all that you received. Sounds fabulous!! Enjoy your day! :-)
