That's our "Pink", most typically an indoor cat, but she does like to roam a little if we'll take the time to keep an eye on her. This morning she went out to say hello to Judith and Sir Francis who were too engrossed in their morning meal to pay Pink much mind. Later, two doors down at our neighbors, I dropped in and found the those two soaking up the sun, poolside.
Peace reigns over Louise's animal kingdom! Amazing that Pink doesn't chase the Jaded ducks! Mind you I can see Pink knows who is Boss by the way she is looking at you. By the way - Pink? Who chose that name ? Lol!
@pamknowler Happy you should ask, my British friend! Look up A.A. Milne's "Pinkle Purr"... As far back as I can remember it was a childhood favourite...hence, "Pink"... We had a "Tat", too, Google is a marvelous thing!
@cashew Thanks for the fave Kathy! Pink's totally chill... She really does go around the yard greeting the feral cats...and the ducks! Come to think of it, one of the ferals is her mom and she was born in the yard about 13 years ago!
Fabulous Louise. Have you come across a children's book called Six Dinner Sid by Inga Moore. The blurb says:
Sid is a cat who is addicted to having six meals a day and glories in this lifestyle. Manipulative, persuasive and a charmer he has wrapped everybody round his little paw - each owner believes that Sid belongs to them only . . . until the day he is found out! The grandkids would love it!
What a sweet capture and nicely composed!
