Peace Dove? by Weezilou

Peace Dove?

There was only one witness present when the attack took place, but when questioned, he said he was concerned about the aggressive hawk flying overhead.
Great story-line Louise, and snappy work with the camera too.

Our distance is so great . Still I can see the same birds as in our garden. Do the fly all that way ?Next time I`ll give them a message.

@pyrrhula Interesting, isn't it, that some birds are known only to small regions and others live everywhere! Only recently these smaller sized Mourning Doves have been joined here by larger, lighter, Asian Doves. They're pretty, but rather than "coo-coo' sounding sweet, that have a terrible sounding "voice"!

i have watched them enough to know they are far from peaceful.

I'm afraid the Peaceable Kingdom isn't all that peaceful.

@allie912 It was happenstance that I caught the aggressive move! I've seen them chase one another away, but I didn't realize they actually tried to inflict wounds!
