Recipe for Disaster

It's not like I have all the time in the world, heading up the coast for the upcoming weekend, and soon afterward, packing for a summer in Nova Scotia. But the fruit on the trees is still plentiful, and I'm trying to use it and not leave it all behind. So I took out my mother's recipe and got underway, unaware that this was to be a 2-day process at best!

It turned out "pretty good", but I went to the internet looking for a recipe that might go a little faster. In rethinking it all, perhaps orange marmalade might not be a bad idea...
Mmmmm, nothing like home-made marmalade Louise. Keep on keeping on.

Home made marmalade sounds delicious and quicker! Packing for one week away is bad enough yet alone packing for the summer! I don't envy you! I know I would forget something I really need! I suppose you have had plenty of practice now and are used to it?

Opps Gotta read the entire recipe before starting the process, huh? Sounds good, however...... Taking some with you, I hope.

We have food supply`s for poor people you can donate to. Often the big supermarket do this with the ``on date`` foods.

@pyrrhula It wasn't as "pretty" as I would have liked it to be, but everyone is enjoying it!

When are you leaving for the summer? Your winter appears to be getting shorter and shorter!
