My neighbour's garden is so beautiful right now, and the bees were a bonus! The goldenrod is beginning to spring up along the roadsides and the potted mums are appearing out in front of the grocery store. This last splash of pink will give way to golden tones and everyone will remark, with a question, "What happened to summer?"
Thank you for making me feel welcomed back with my sun-splashed little volunteer! I most definitely will fill in with photos from the past few weeks. It could be said of Lunenburg, since mid-July, that "the town was alive with the sound of music." If you've had the good fortune to visit the maritimes, you'll know it's a pretty magical place!
@chard yes, that one was in my mind as well... I'm getting old and can't recall if that was how it ended! Thank heaven for youtube we can listen again without setting up "the record player"!
@pixiemac WHat fun that the two of you shared the day...and in gardens no less! I can now so easily picture you and your camera diligently at work, and I just know you got superb photos! Thanks for coming by...and I only wish I could join your circle!
