Second Thoughts by Weezilou

Second Thoughts

I rode along with Ken to a meeting in San Diego as 1> I always enjoy time to share his company and 2> he could use the carpool lane which makes the drive more pleasant for him.

The day was overcast when we left home, but along the way the clouds were low and the rain came down hard. On the plus side, the hills are a vibrant green again for all the water! The surf was wild and angry, so I asked for a detour along the coast highway for some pictures.

No one was out at the beach...
No one was on the pier...
No one was in the water...
And it looked as though this young man might (wisely) be having second thoughts about going out alone.
love the tones Louise - definitely not safe surfing weather

Great image of the lone surfer watching the waves. Not a good idea surfing alone in rough seas. I do love to see the waves when the weather is bad. It can be so exciting! Fav!

Beautiful tone to this. He's thinking "mama said there would be days like this".

The water is a wonderful shade of green, but a little too angry.

Terrific capture of this lone surfer! He definitely looks like he's having second thoughts . . . makes me think about some of the crazy things I did at that age and I know I didn't think twice before doing them . . . but probably should have. :-)

Great capture. I hope he made the right decision and didn't go into the water after you had passed by.
