This was an interesting area filled with diverse settings! These houses looked across the little bay at a huge brewing company...but they would need a designated "driver" for a night out! Behind me is a venue that houses a large number of craftsmen, designing and selling from their small rooms. In all, this wasn't far outside St John's, but it was completely different!
This photo is full of all the colours that make houses in St John's so unique, but these folks had chosen an entirely different lifestyle!
*****Computer update: Ken bought a new one at Costco, but thinks it's too big for traveling...it's going back. I may be waiting a few weeks to get one from Dell but I can do little but color correct a photo and pass it along! I can hardly wait to "play" again, but I've got no shortage of activities to keep me very very busy! ... THANK YOU for all the nice notes and comments!
@elkereturns@merrelyn Funny, the opposing terminology "built up"..."Pushed down"... Merrelyn, yes, there's no bridge, though this is not far across the bay. They would have to get into the boat to come across. No salesmen knock on their door!
@louannwarren You spoil me,you know, with your always-so-very-kind comments! In actuality it's good for me to be forced to choose carefully! @paintdipper@pamknowler Thank you so much for liking this quaint place enough to leave a fave.
Fabulous capture of this very interesting area! Love the colors and also their entirely different lifestyle! I know for sure I want to visit Nova Scotia at some point and now it seems Newfoundland is also on my list. Fav! :-)
@radiogirl Thank you for saying so, Kathy. Perhaps it's more interesting with perspectives from both Pam and me at the same time! I've fallen behind, but want to be enjoying the visit and our fresh return "home" for the summer!
HI! Hubby and I are thinking of coming to the east coast in September. After seeing all your beautiful images Lunenburg is on our list! Are you still there mid September??? We've only got a week and would travel fast but I'd love to meet you if you're around. Also appreciate any advice travel advice you might have as we've never been to the area before. My email is kwindle@shaw.ca. Thanks!
@pdulis Wow! We've been coming to NS for 17 years now and only made our first trip to Newfoundland! We hope it won't be our last...we loved it and want to see more! Can you share what it was that took you there?
@paintdipper @pamknowler Thank you so much for liking this quaint place enough to leave a fave.
