With the zoo photos piling up, I'm in the thick of creating a book of animal photos I've taken through the years. It would be too easy to just drop them in, wouldn't it? It's an excellent reason to try different techniques so each page has a little variety.
At the end of the day, I have some photos to post on 365 as well. I should add that a good night's sleep helped greatly, and I found a fair number of respectable photos to pick from. Thanks for all the nice comments on the little known Gerenuk in yesterday's photo!
@casablanca "Colour" was a consideration as I spend life between the British and American language. I try to reply with the "u" to you and the Aussies, and use it always while we're in Canada! While it was hard to make that change, after 17 years half-time in Canada, I more typically, now, have to *stop* myself from using the "u" when writing to folks in the states!
I can well see why you like that processing Louise. I'm not too fussed about American spelling from Americans, I expect it, and it's easily translated. But I did ban my students from using it unless they were American. Some of the other differences are a little more tricky though, eg lucked-in here means the same as lucked-out in the States. And 'chuck' isn't a man's name, it means to throw something or throw up. I love learning linguistic differences, great fun. And when in Rome, do as the Romans do.
