The most unlikely of flat, cactus-like leaves growing in a basket save all the beauty within to produce these spectacular blooms! "The prettiest I've ever seen" occurred this morning after an overnight shower! I tried to get as many photos and angles as I could because in 3 days they'll be gone!
@ethelperry I wanted to get on a step stool, and Ken had his arms tightly around my waist! (THAT was probably the real photo of the morning! I could tell he wasn't relaxed about me climbing up a couple steps and leaning in!)
So beautiful Louise! I now have this vision of you up the steps and Ken hanging on for dear life! Life is never dull with you Louise! Lol! I am so pleased you have caught this fabulous flower in its very brief life! We have to capture the magic moments! Fav!
So gorgeous! Oh Louise, our 14 degrees for a week killed so many of my plants, including your beautiful cactus orchid. I am looking for one here to put in a pot do I can winter it in my garage! I was devastated when it didn’t come back this spring. 😢
