Back from Catalina, the boys wanted to spend the following day in the pool. Missy Duck seemed put off that there were people in her pond! She watched awhile from the roof next door...then flew down and paced the yard and around the pool! Her constant proximity was too good to pass up!
Hummingbird Update: The twins have hatched! They're still so tiny and dark they'd be hard to photograph, but they'll grow fast. I'll wait until I can see their tiny beaks above the side of the nest, and while Mama's away I'll have Ken help me get a photo. Stay tuned!
