Thank you all for the generous outpouring for last night's fox photo! We're back in Lunenburg, and with a bit more time to look over the pictures, i realize I was shooting for a half hour! (The camera is still off by an hour...this was just after 9)
I didn't take many photos today as we were on the road again, but with all these gorgeous animals, I thought I'd post another. (When grandson, Ashton, saw them, he said he wanted to take one home! At present he's awaiting the arrival of the raccoon... He'll want one of those also!)
This is such a beautiful fox! It also looks so healthy. When I see a Fox here it often looks a bit mangy and skinny. A gorgeous capture of this lovely fox - it certainly looks happy and relaxed! Fav!
@brigette This was the last of many before driving away. They're very comfortable around people; some children were giving them bread! I posted one last night where he was at my feet looking up at me! "Begging" comes to mind!
@gardenfolk OMG! HOW did you ever find this one??!!! Super catchy...I hesitate playing it for the boys...they'll want to see it again and again! Of course it might be a change from "The Greatest Showman", a couple tunes of which they play on repeat! (BTW, LOVED the costuming in this video! Totally wonderful!)
@joansmor haha...understood! I wouldn't jump out of the car at every fox encounter either! These are just known around there to be tourist-friendly and I would imagine locals keep an eye on them to spot if there were any changes! I now have many wonderful photos of them to work with for the rest of the summer!
@kali66 Oh, I haven't forgotten! I even prepared before leaving California, but we've been visiting one family in the states before coming north, settling for two days before the other family arrived, and since, have been traveling with and entertaining them! I told Francoise I couldn't even think of starting the challenge before I'm once again home alone...and that would be late afternoon Monday! (I tried to bow out, but the runner-up said she was busy as well, so it's posted that I'd have to wait.) It's summer (well, up here!) so it's a busy time for many of us! I hope, and I think, you'll like what I have in mind! ...soon!...
@Weezilou It was a catchy song a couple of years ago that went viral...so fun! I think they made a children's book out of it too. I think the group had two hits but I don't remember the other song. I thought you would get a kick out of it! Enjoy! :)
