Seeking "Cozy" on this Blustery Day! by Weezilou

Seeking "Cozy" on this Blustery Day!

This was taken on a visit to Ross Farm with our visitors, Mike and Lana, before Pam arrived. It was certainly cold on that day and I caught the docent stoking the fire where they were about to bake "more" biscuits (which were delicious!) Today I'm making cards to purchase on Shutterfly, so I'll use this that I have worked on a bit. It suits today perfectly! While not everyday is sunny, everyday can have its own charm!
That looks so homely. LIke a peek into history. You can almost smell the baking!

@casablanca This place is a 200-y-o living farm. On a cold day, nothing nicer then to step into that room from the porch and it's suddenly warm and the air smells like home baking! (Biscuits on that day, and Maple cookies and rhubarb juice in the summers!)

ooh imagine living 200 years ago...how difficult life would have been but on the other hand how simple!

@huvesaker I often let my mind wander back to consider what I'd have to give up and what would keep me busy... I once made a one-off "artist's book" that I called "Two Sides to every Story", pairing the charm with the difficulties; as a study, it was eye-opening!
