The current terminology for this young mother is, "Helicopter Mom".
There's always more to the story... These two have been arriving about 10 each night, and if I have't left them something to eat, I open the door at 11 and they're sitting right there waiting for me! Though Mom seems to be giving him some space, I've learned to put down two bowls of food or she can pick one up and head down the stairs with it, leaving him wanting!
They're delightfully entertaining and such regular visitors, I only photograph them now and then...
What beautiful late night guests :) When I live on a farm we had a large possum who would come to the back door too - this brings back lovely memories for me. Thanks & fav :)
