Out to run errands this morning, I made note of where I'd seen this as we drove by, and stopped on our way home. This is the simple, unmanicured beauty of this part of the world. Yellows become the strongest colors in August, before giving way to the oranges and browns of Autumn. The seasons are short, and I won't let them pass unnoticed!
