Twelve days ago when we arrived, the boys wanted to know if Papa had made cookies to bring... He hadn't (this time), so yesterday I suggested he bake them a welcome-home treat as they were arriving around 1 AM and would probably want a snack after their travel day.
They came in quietly, and we didn't see everyone until they left for school this morning. The cookies were gone.
