Fav! This is awesome for so many reasons. I love the intense sky, the rust contrasting with the white wood and the pop of colour in the umbrella. Perfect!
Marvelous leading line, clouds, rust, and the rainbowed umbrella at the end! Stunning, fav. What are the shapes in distance on the right in the opening between the rusty railings? I find them a bit distracting.
Although not the most interesting sky, absolutely right to include so much of it as it is key to the atmosphere of the shot. If you were buying an umbrella for this shot you could not beat this one. Well done

I know I FAV'ed this, but I cannot remember if I commented! :-) Really, absolutely amazing! Everything seems to have come together in this shot! The sky, the rusty rails, that cheerful, found umbrella, it is just gorgeous! Big congrats on the TT!

thanks everyone. glad so many of you liked it and have fav'ed it.
this shot has been sitting in my head for months, ever since I found this umbrella, abandoned and broken, on the side of the road. it always stays in the boot of my car, waiting for the right time. Finally that opportunity arrived last weekend :-)
