After a week of pretty awful weather, this afternoon the skies finally cleared to make way for a great sunset.
This was taken looking west from Canada Place. In the foreground to the left is the west building of the Vancouver Convention Centre, with the Shaw tower in the background (in case you haven't been paying attention to my previous photos from this area, that's still the third-tallest building in Vancouver!)
To the right can be seen the (virtually unoccupied) new seaplane terminal -- the majority of seaplanes continuing to use the old facility (it's all a bit political). The right-most building in the distance is the Westin Bayshore hotel, with Stanley Park and the mountains beyond.
I'm a British software developer and photographer living in Vancouver, BC. I mainly photograph landscapes, cityscapes, night scenes, and water.

Lovely shot. Very crisp & I love the warm tones of the building against the blue. If you want some more clouds, just let me know. We can have plenty to spare. :)
Oh this is wonderful! The Convention Center looks fabulous!
Nice to see our hotel-- we stayed at the Westin Bayshore last month-- such a great location!
