I had hoped to get a photo of the transit of Venus in front of the Sun today, but the sun was in short supply today in Vancouver.
As it set, there looked as though there might just be a chance it would peek through a gap in the clouds, so I headed over to Vanier Park to see if it would.
Sadly for me and the handful of other optimistic photographers and astronomers there, the sun failed to make an appearance. So instead, here's a shot of some various forms of water transportation, taken with my secondary camera.
