McWay Falls in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park, just off the Pacific Coast Highway between San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The waterfall is 80 feet high and is classed as a tidefall, as it empties directly into the ocean.
This is another reprocess of an old image. I've never been particularly happy with this photo, the composition seems unbalanced and the trees on the right encroach too much.
Unfortunately I had a whole bunch of better-composed photos, but for some reason (I must presume user error) almost all of them have focusing errors that were too minor to be seen on the camera display, but are far too severe to do anything useful with. At least I'm a bit happier with my processing of it, this time.

Dont be too hard on urself. This is awesome to me. This community is very happy to accomodate the not so perfect shoot. I suppose most of us here are amateur photographer. I suppose few of those seeing other`s photos don`t even look at the details.
I think this is a cool capture & nicely processed. I suppose it's not too bad when the dark patches are nature elements against landscapes. You drew my attention straight to the blue water and beautiful waves ... so the rest is just part of the composition to highlight the main focus. Didn't even notice the waterfall until you mentioned it. I agree with Menarose, we are our worst critique!
