After my trip to Crater Lake in Oregon I decided to head home -- well, pretty much. It didn't take too long to get bored of the I-5, and so I headed off west just before Eugene in search of Coyote Creek covered bridge.
Due to insufficient directions in my book and it being hidden behind trees, I never actually managed to find the bridge, although I was within 100 yards of it at one point. However, just as I was giving up as the sun was setting behind the hills, I came across this farmer using a baler.
The sunlight was just catching the dust as it was thrown up by the machinery, so I quickly pulled over and ran back. The light was rapidly fading so I had no time to set up my tripod. My shots from two minutes later were flat and dull as the sun had gone behind the hills.
