I know, I know, last time I posted a photo from my trip to Wreck Beach I said it would be the last one.
However, I really liked this shot taken just before the sun set behind the North Shore mountains, as it was just glancing off the tops of the wet rocks, and lighting them up very beautifully.
This also shows the amount of cloud in the sky that was lit up once the sun had set, producing the beautiful post-sunset colours that night.
This used my typical setup for beach sunsets -- a 3-stop graduated ND filter to help the balance between the sky and the ground, a circular polariser to emphasise the reflections in the water and on the rocks. As with my previously-uploaded photo, I also used HDR to prevent the sun from overpowering the scene.
I'm a British software developer and photographer living in Vancouver, BC. I mainly photograph landscapes, cityscapes, night scenes, and water.

I just love your shots from this spot. ... well I love all of your shots really, but your sun-beach shots were handy on my iphone when I went down to capture the dawn at the beach on Saturday....
