Another photo of the snow that fell on Vancouver on Thursday night and throughout Friday morning.
This was again taken in Gastown, at about 7:15am, and shows the intersection of Powell and Carrall Street. A black and white conversion on this shot emphasised the contrast in the scene and seemed to work well with the empty streets.
Another HDR photo to capture the extremes of dynamic range of this night scene, particularly with the very bright clusters of street lights in Gastown, with exposures ranging from 1/160th to 6 seconds.
Streaks of falling snow can be seen in this photo, particularly in the sky at the top right, when viewed large.

I want to wish you and your loved ones
peace, health, happiness and prosperity
in the coming New Year and a Blessed Christmas ツ
If I'm not mistaken a picture of yours was recently featured in the Vancity Buzz? I think I recognize your work through a friend who also had a photograph featured and shared it on Facebook.
@prowessler Vancity Buzz are kind enough to feature most of my photos, either on Facebook or their website (much to the annoyance of one of my friends, who reckons I'm bribing them! :) )
The previous snow shot (Abbott Street) was also featured on the Vancouver Sun site and a few other Vancouver news sites and blogs.
