The skies were cloudy this evening, but gradually cleared and I thought I was all set to take a picture of the eclipse. Shot a few practice shots with this moondog, then settled down to wait. The time I thought it was to be came and went with nary a shadow. Upon checking I discovered that I'd missed it by over 12 hours. Still can't convert UT time. Oh well. Here's the moon tonight. The bright spot to the upper left is Jupiter. The did make a beautiful pair.
