I noticed a bumble bee visiting the purple flowers and quickly grabbed the camera. However, he had flitted away so I turned my attention to the rose bush. I was worried when I uncovered it this spring as it hadn't seemed to weather the winter very well. My concern appears to have been unwarranted, as it is covered with buds and appears ready to bloom all summer.
The light is superb and the rich colors beautiful your fears were unfounded if this image is anything to go by hope we see the rise in full bloom : wonderful April !
