Hoyt Arboretum wildflower

Eldest joined us in Portland, and, while I have my favorite haunts, he always takes us by the hand and leads us to new ventures. Though I love the Rose Garden, Japanese Garden, and Chinese Garden, he thought we should enjoy a walk along some of the trails in Hoyt Arboretum. He was right. The dappled sunlight and shadows provided a pleasant break from the warm temperatures, and the flora and fauna were spectacular. As usual, I couldn't resist the little wildflowers.
Beautiful shot.

So tender and sweet, April. Obviously, I haven't spent enough time at Hoyt Arboretum! Sounds wonderful!

I'm such a sucker for these soft, delicate flower shots. Well done! Really pretty color gradation of the purples.
