Diamonds in the grass (more menacing viewed large)
With partly cloudy skies I thought I might try my orb outside, but just as I was about to plop down I noticed this unwelcome visitor. Locked the dogs in the house, but couldn't resist grabbing the camera. No worries ... I used the zoom lens. This rattler never did coil or rattle, just patiently tried to wait out the disturbance. I did finally persuade it to leave the front yard utilizing the hose, though it was in no hurry to take its leave. This is extremely cropped. That would scare the hell out of me and would be. Likely to get out of the house for a very long time so let's say I am truly amazed that you stayed around to take a shot, fantastic!
