Remember when this meant "remember"? Remember why? The string on your finger is supposed to keep your thought there. I have a terrible memory. Conversations with me can become, well, repetitive, and most of my past experiences are vague at best. I would need a handful of strings to remember everything. It can be sad, not sharing in memories, but I don't hold grudges or stay angry long either. On this day of remembering, I do have clear memories. Cataclysmic events can be like that, and I didn't really need this string to remember.
